I absolutely love this. Why has no one done this before? I opened the ones I had and got the warrior belt with echo of anger. Fantabulious idea, we could also have party favors too, kinda like "Awe I didn't get any loot from this one but, hey this is still neat." ( http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=87311 ) things like that, or ( http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=51598 ) and maybe even on the rare occasion ( http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=69466 ).
Also one of the great things about them is they can be rated by toughness to acquire and we could have special repeatable quest where these are given out.

Good stuff and not so good stuff can be in a box. I got 10 radiants from mine. But the fun is not knowing till you open it.

I've gotten both a handful of crystals and my monk even got a great h2h wep, Aged Vahalla fist 26/18 180hp and 2 type 4 slots. great idea but have yet to find one in the world. hope I can find a few and get lucky.

Right now they drop in any zone from any monster that can drop a Radiant Crystal, however very rarely.
Not long ago the loottables been changed, i didn't check its rarity after that. Might make it drop more often, with often i mean a tiny little bit less rare ;-)
